Volunteers are a tremendous asset to Allied Women’s Center and our affiliated crisis pregnancy centers.

 

AWC welcomes individuals who wish to lend their energies, enthusiasm, and expertise to promote our life-affirming message. Remember, no volunteer effort is too large or too small when it comes to helping save the lives of innocent children in the womb! Come be a part of an organization that has saved the lives of over 2,500 babies in San Antonio and South Texas.

We offer many types of volunteer opportunities:

• Client Counseling:  Meet with clients and provide pregnancy options counseling, some prenatal and abstinence education, and other help. Need to complete Counseling Volunteer Training.

• Administrative Services: Work behind the scenes by helping at the front desk, providing administrative and database support, conduct information gathering, etc.

• Family Support Services: Help pregnant mothers and families with their material needs, including prenatal support; clothing collection, sorting, distribution, diaper distribution, and more (even holding babies!).

• Outreach Services: Help with volunteer recruitment, parish coordination, marketing services, and more.

• Event Assistants: Help with fundraising and donor recognition events, baby showers, client/family picnics, and more.

• Handyman Services: Assist organization with handyman tasks: carpentry, plumbing, facilities maintenance, general repairs, etc.
