Volunteer

Volunteers are a tremendous asset to the Allied Women’s Center and our affiliated crisis pregnancy centers. AWC welcomes individuals who wish to lend their energies, enthusiasm, and expertise to promote our life-affirming message. Remember, no volunteer effort is too large or too small when it comes to helping save the lives of innocent children in the womb! Come be a part of an organization that has saved the lives of over 2,000 babies!

We have several different types of volunteer opportunities:

Client Counseling: Those who work directly with clients. These volunteers who meet with clients and provide pregnancy options counseling, some prenatal and abstinence education, and other help. These volunteers are required to complete the Counseling Volunteer Training.

Administrative Services: Those who work behind the scenes helping at the front desk, administrative support, information gathering, database support and more.

Family Support Services: Helping pregnant mothers and families with their material needs including prenatal support, clothing collection-sorting-distribution, diaper distribution, and more (and even holding babies).

Outreach Services: Helping with volunteer recruitment, parish coordination, marketing services, and more.

Media Services: Helping develop email and print communications, writing newsletters, public service announcements, public and media relations, and more.

Event Assistants: Helping with fundraising events, donor recognition, baby showers, client/family picnics, and more.

Handyman Services: Those handy individuals who help the organization in many handyman ways (carpentry, plumbing, facilities maintenance, general repairs, etc.).
